Myrights & Duties was founded in 2022. Our association aims to promote the socio-professional integration and political and social rights of people in Belgium, the right to live as a family, the right to work, the right to privacy and the protection of personal data.

The association also has the specific aim of combating de facto and de jure discrimination against people of foreign origin or nationality, and takes action to promote the socio-professional integration of jobseekers or people with few qualifications.

The association also advocates the dissemination of legislation on data protection and privacy, as well as the rights of data subjects in relation to the processing of their personal data.

How can we help the public?

1. to provide legal and administrative support to natural or legal persons wishing to obtain work and/or residence permits and/or international protection at federal, federated entity, regional or local authority level in order to settle legally, temporarily or permanently, in Belgium or the European Union;

2. to provide legal and administrative support to natural or legal persons in matters of privacy and data protection, acting where necessary as data protection officer;

3. to lead, support or legally and administratively represent data subjects in individual or collective legal or administrative proceedings when their rights to privacy and data protection have not been respected or are being violated;

4. to intervene in the continuing education of adults and social cohesion at local, community or federal level in order to promote political and social rights and the social integration of individuals.
